What is the significance of patent protection?
Kronotex glue-free laying techniques are all licensed under the patent law as these patents have now become indispensable to any laminate flooring manufacturers. Kronotex has also reached wide-ranging licensing and cooperation agreements for future product development, patent and trademark protection. What is the significance of the CELQ quality mark?
The letters CELQ stand for Certified European Laminate Quality, and represent product quality in accordance to the labeled class according to the laminate flooring standard. Whoever is looking for laminate flooring today is spoilt for choice. Should it be beech, walnut, mahogany or another wood? Should it be marble, granite or slate? A multitude of colourful labels promise customers that the products are 'hard-wearing' or 'easy to clean' and will give long service. Unfortunately, the quality so boldly claimed on the packaging is sometimes lacking in the product. So how does one recognise whether you really have a 'quality' product? There is no single answer to that question, but there is now an important indicator to make things easier for the consumer - the CELQ Quality Label. The customer can therefore rest assured that products bearing the CELQ Quality Label meet the very highest standards of quality. The label ensures that the classified quality meets the expectations to the end consumer better, which gives a longer working life, more pleasure, more satisfaction from your floor!
