Kronotex presents a new product and design
collection for demanding floor designs
"At Domotex 2008, we will be
presenting our ‘FLOORS FOR LIVING’ in a unique
variety of new patterns, surfaces and
compositions", announced Martin Prager, head of
Kronotex GmbH & Co. KG, prior
to the trade fair presentation. "In our proven
standard programmes alone, we already offer over
90 different looks for individual room designs, to
which we have also added exotic novelties such as
'Snakewood', 'Wengé Gabun' or 'Hacienda Eiche'. In
addition, we are offering completely new product
lines such as "Real Stone",
"Ocean" and "Colorado -
GLAMOUR" as well as the avant-garde
"Design Collection", which will
surely draw considerable attention. All in all, we
hope to offer our customers new impulses for room
design with the diverse assortment of our
products. Floors should be fun and inspire anew
each day – that's true for private living areas as
well as for commercial use."
Under the
motto "The new lightness of being", which
Kronotex products also
impressively convey with their new market
appearance, the experienced producers offer an
optimal solution for high quality floor coverings
for all tastes. Equal consideration is given to
the wishes of their demanding international
customers as well as the requirements of
cost-conscious smart shoppers and young
design-oriented target groups.
"Life can be so
beautiful" – this is also conveyed by the
new marketing appearance of FLOORS FOR LIVING. And
the demonstrated diversity, from the top seller
"Dynamic" to the ultra-long "Mammut" panelling,
keeps what it promises. Beyond the abundance of
classical decor, a good dozen completely new
designs capture the imagination with a unique
aesthetic. Aficionados of identical wood
structures and silky-smooth surfaces can enjoy the
same cost benefits as those with extravagant
tastes, whose decor corresponds to the sensation
stimulating "Zwetschge Astoria" or the exotic
"Snakewood".
Common to all products is the
absolute high quality of the processed materials
and the simple, reliable installation method. This
includes the convenient "Clic2Clic" process,
carefully milled V-grooves and a logically
thought-out accessory programme. Whether the new
flooring is to fulfil the normal requirements of
living areas or the extreme requirements of
industrial environments, FLOORS FOR LIVING
provides the perfect solution for every need.
The valued Kronotex
product spectrum is now enhanced with four
completely new and exciting design concepts.
Inspired from current residential design trends,
these collections will grow with the customers'
wishes in coming years and will be enhanced step
by step.
With the product line
"Ocean", Kronotex now offers a
complete ship deck collection that not only is
suitable as wood panelling for ships and yachts,
but also for installation in moist areas. The
lengthwise joints of the individual panels with
integrated black stripes create a particularly
pleasant appearance and hygienically seal the
surface against dust or the penetration of
moisture. If this has piqued your interest, you
should also take a look at the second design
collection from Kronotex.
Because, first and foremost, the new
"Colorado-Glamour" series is
concerned with the classic beauty of precious
materials. The new term "High Gloss Flooring"
stands for three extraordinarily glamorous designs
that offer a special type of high class ambience
with a total of 14 different decors. By means of a
new type of electron beam-hardened lacquer
coating, the panels are convincing with their
overwhelming elegant shine of marble, exclusive
natural stone or luxurious precious woods. That
the manufacturing process optimised by
Kronotex additionally guarantees
the highest insensitivity to light, high scratch
and abrasion resistance and absolute dust and
bacteria-proof surfaces is nearly a matter of
course in the splendour of the offerings. In a
second step, the "Colorado" series will be
extended with a matte finish (natural shine)
decor.
Completely different but no less
spectacular are the surface designs of the
'real stone' natural stone veneer
product line that will be first introduced as a
product sampling at the Domotex 2008 trade fair.
"We want to find out whether our new idea of
employing wafer-thin, cleavable slate rock veneer
as an interesting floor design actually meets the
tastes and expectations of our customers,
explained Uwe Petzold, Marketing Manager of the
new flooring innovation of the KRONO
GRUPPE SCHWEIZ. "With our 'real stone'
products, we enhance the flooring world with a
completely new element: real stone which, due to
our processing system, can be installed as easily
as all classic flooring materials in our company."
With their raw cleaved surfaces and the
fascinating colours of natural minerals, the 1 and
2-mm thin stone veneer layers create a completely
new tactile and visual experience of space. Each
floor is exclusively unique. Because 'real stone'
is classified as "suitable for moist
environments", its range of use is additionally
expanded.
Equally unique in the FLOORS FOR
LIVING programme is the dew-fresh "Design
Collection" with the "Paloma",
"Fengshui-Stone" and "Bambino" decor lines. Two
floral patterns that play with dreamlike art
nouveau motifs in light-dark contrasts are just as
impressive as the blank pebble pattern of
"Fengshui-Stone" that is reminiscent of a dreamy
walk along the shore. And those who finally want
to offer their children a cheerful floor, the
favourite play surface of all "bambinos", can now
choose between a pink or light blue design
variant. Continuing the idea from
Kronotex, in future, individual
motifs based on digital images can be transformed
into space-filling flooring designs. It will be
interesting to see creative customers will come up
with in the design of their kitchens, living rooms
or hallways.
A full programme, a fresh
look and the "new lightness of being“ – at the
Domotex exhibition area of KRONO GRUPPE
SCHWEIZ in Hall 7,
Booth C44, not only offers the
chance to discover the impressive variety of
products and designs.
Trade visitors and
the general public will also be able to obtain
insight into the world of digital printing. For
Kronotex, there is no doubt that
completely new dimensions of individual flooring
designs are possible with innovative technology –
without making concessions regarding proven
quality and usage standards.
