In
the suit filed under 4 b O 266/06 and preferred
before the Düsseldorf District Court, Kronotex
submitted on 28
August 2007
an appeal against the judgement delivered in the
first instance.
The chamber of
the Düsseldorf District Court had based its
judgement at first instance primarily on the
functionality of the connection. Kronotex claims
that the court did not enter adequately into the
details of the patent contrary to the 5G
embodiment. Kronotex assumes that the appeals
court will make a different appraisal and that the
appeal will be upheld.
September
will see judgement on the opposition proceedings
against the patent in suit EP 1 415 056 B1 before
the European Patent Office and Akzenta’s civil
action against Välinge. Kronotex is convinced that
both suits will influence favourably its own
appellate proceedings.
